Great food, down home atmosphere, clean, friendly, reasonable prices, what more could you ask for??

Old West Diner is THE place to eat in Rural Retreat. From the first time we walked through the door, the owners, Jill and Sylvia, welcomed us as old friends. The food is great, prices reasonable and the restaurant is CLEAN. Everything is fresh so it may take a little longer than fast food. It's well worth the wait. The staff is great and the atmosphere is down home. If you're driving down the interstate and looking for a good meal, this is the place. They're located just east of the intersection of Hwy 11 and Hwy 90, about 1/2 mile from I-81, exit 60. Take the exit towards Rural Retreat and turn left at the first traffic light (What am I saying, it's the one and only traffic light in Rural Retreat!) We especially like breakfast there but any meal is worth the stop!
